Party in a Box is a large-scale interactive art project being brought to Burning Man in 2026. Built to resemble the ubiquitous pink donut box on the exterior, the instantly recognizable and comforting image will serve as an oasis for participants traversing the deep playa of Black Rock City. The exterior walls will serve as a blank canvas for Burners to share their thoughts on music, collectively curate the ultimate playlists, and perhaps muse on donuts. Inside the structure, visitors will find a party room where they can customize their experience by controlling both lighting and music. Party in a Box will be a constantly evolving space that can be something for anyone and everyone -much like BRC at large.
